The entire school education curriculum will be reoriented to develop holistic learners and develop in learners higher order skills of critical thinking, creativity, logical deduction, collaboration/teamwork, social responsibility, multilingualism, quantitative reasoning, and digital literacy.
For each of the concepts/capacities experiential/play-based/toybased/discovery-based/experiment-based/art based/sportsbased/storytelling based/interactive/less textbookcentric/creative/enjoyable activities and pedagogy is developed that will enable students to acquire these capacities through less rote and greatercreativity and analytical/critical thinking.
An increased focus on foundational literacy and numeracy – and generally, on reading, writing, speaking, counting, arithmetic, and mathematical thinking throughout the preparatory and middle schoolcurriculum, with a robust system of continuous formative/adaptive assessmentto track and thereby individualize and ensure each student’s learning.
The curriculum also integrates digital literacy for all learners at the basic level, with hands-on assessments andworksheets keeping in mind the available digital infrastructure on the ground.

Sports-integrated learning is undertaken in classroom transactions to help students adopt fitness as a lifelong attitude and to achieve the related life skills along with the levels of fitness as envisaged in the Fit India Movement.
Basic training in health, including preventative health, mental health, nutrition, personal and public hygiene, and first-aid is included in the curriculum.
