International School has partnered with Space India to launch the Universe in The School (UITS) Programme for students in grades 3 to 10, bringing an immersive and practical approach to astronomy and space science education. Unlike traditional book-based learning, the UITS initiative integrates hands-on activities, experimentation, and exploration into the school curriculum. Students learn the basics of the universe, the history and dynamics of celestial objects, and concepts from the solar system to deep space through live demonstrations, interactive projects, and scientific experiments.

The programme provides direct experience with professional-grade telescopes, allowing students to make real celestial observations. Students also participate in national and international astronomy events, science competitions, outreach programs, and projects with experts from leading space organizations. This approach not only nurtures scientific temperament and problem-solving skills but also exposes students to global opportunities in space research and innovation.
